Eliot Park is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, and furniture maker currently getting his Masters in Architecture at UC Berkeley.
As a son of immigrant parents who ran a wholesale store in North Philadelphia, Eliot’s world was surrounded by objects. After going to school for furniture design, he worked for various companies as a maker of things. His fraught relationship to objects informs his practice of creating sculpture and installations that address the slippery nature of identity and the unstable ground in which the internal interfaces the external.
